ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Welcome. I’m Marlene Bannister and I am the creator behind the works at Caragana Canvas. For the past 10 years I’ve been crafting personalized designs in Photoshop and Illustrator for garments, banners, posters, logos and the like. I still offer design and print services to my local trading area, and I’m so excited that I can now offer great digital designs to the rest of the world.
I’m an avid photographer, but you won’t typically find people in my pictures. I like things: buildings, objects, shapes, colours, textures. I snap anything and everything that I can use as inspiration for the basis of a design. From the cobblestones of a castle in Finland, to a Shinto shrine in Japan, to the texture of wood found on our farm corals – I am inspired by the structures and shapes of the places I have visited.
